THIS IS A REAL, GRASS ROOTS ATTEMPT TO USE THE INTERNET FOR A RUN FOR THE
PRESIDENCY IN NOVEMBER, 2008. IF, AFTER PERUSING ALL THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HERE, YOU FIND ME AND MY IDEAS TO BE VIABLE,
PASS THE SITE AND YOUR RECOMMENDATION ALONG TO ALL THOSE YOU THINK WILL BE INTERESTED, SO WE CAN BUILD A CONSTITUENCY.
When the present administration leaves office, the country
will be OVER 12 TRILLION dollars in debt. This verses a budget surplus when these people took office. Along with everything
else that has to be fixed because of the myopic policies of this administration, we
will have to repair our infrastructure to the tune of ~$20 billion per year over the next twenty years or so. We have been
put on the fast track to becoming a third world country. Both the Republican and Democratic candidates say they will change
Washington. However, with these people, it always seems Washington changes them. What we really need from Washington is ACTION. You will not get action from a
President who has to bow to the party line, and fight with the opposite party over most any issue. I will kick Washington and every butt there into action, and will appoint people into office that actually
know what they are doing.
IMMEDIATELY UPON INAUGURATION, I WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:
Issue an executive order that bans housing foreclosures until further notice. I will then implement my plan to
solve the housing crisis. (see that section of this document) This order will be followed up by instructions to the Justice
Department, namely the FBI, and the GAO, to find out where every penny of the $700 billion that has so far been expended has
gone. I'm quite certain there are those who will try to get as much of this money as they can in any way they can. Anyone
caught with their hand in the till will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Anyone who used this money to prosecute
the Iraq war will face charges as well, as I have a feeling some of this money will end up there.
An executive order that ends the "Minimum Alternative Tax", a tax that should have been killed burt was
added in the $700 billion dollar package.
Instruct the GAO and the Justice Department to find where are the billions of dollars the government was supposed
to keep in trust for Native Americans.
An executive order removing all restrictions to stem cell research.
Immediately order all non-Iraqi civillians from Iraq. Any contracts with foreign companies will be turned over
to Iraqi companies. Removal of ALL U.S. forces from Iraq will begin when civillians have been safely removed.
An executive order removing all restrictions of aid to foreign countries that that were implemented by the present
administration because those countries did not agree with the present administrations policy on matters of birth control and
sexual relations.
Declare, by executive order, that ALL "Credit Swaps" are ILLEGAL. Therefore, NONE shall be paid out, and all
banks or other institutions that issued these instruments are forbidden to pay them out. Those who have purchased the swaps
may apply to get what they paid for the paper back. However, NONE shall make a profit. In addition, the IRS will be instructed
to retrieve all money possible that has already been paid out, less what was paid for the instrument. THE COMMODITIES AND
FUTURES MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2000 WILL BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID.
In order to get further control of energy, we will do the following:
1) Give all those who convert from heating oil to another form of heating, shcu as gas or electric, a tax credit
for the cost of the conversion. AFTER 2009, HEATING OIL MAY NO LONGER BE USED OR PURCHASED IN THE UNITED STATES.
2) Allow alcohol for motor fuel, made in other countres, to be imported into the Unites States.
3) Require airlines and the military to use as much aviation fuel, made from coal (coke processing) as possible,
and to allow the importation of such fuel from those countries that currently produce it, such as South Africa.
Finally, I will begin to Immediately repair our relations with other countries damaged
by the present administration.
